English Curriculum
At Dobcroft Junior School, we aim to provide children with an exciting range of opportunities to allow them to explore and engage with the National Curriculum – the statutory guidance that lays out what the children should learn in their time at our school.
Maths and English are often the focus of the mornings.
English covers a range of areas, spelling, punctuation, grammar and the range of skills that they will require to be an excellent writer! Reading is taught through a focussed reading session, which is often found being taught in an afternoon.
