Year 4 Homework

Children in Year 4 are expected to complete 40 minutes of homework each week. Please help and support your child wherever possible. However, your child should be able to complete the work 6
Although homework is now set through online platforms, your child’s teacher is able to see if your child has completed the tasks set and how well they have understood the task. Rewards will be given to children for completing homework on time.

Spelling Rules: Some words have similar spellings, root words and meanings. We call these word families. ’phon word family’ and ‘sign word family’
If you would like to revise the Y3 words or practise more of the Y4 words, then please do log in to your Spelling Shed account.
Easter/Spring Activity
We would everyone to have a go at create a work of art around the theme of Easter or Spring.
This could be a painting, drawing, model, photo story etc. It would be wonderful to see these on our class dojos.
