Have you read any Greek myths before?
Have a read of today’s flipchart and then read your copy of The King Midas Myth.
Task 1 - Write a definition of a Greek Myth. Use the words on the flipchart to help you.
Task 2 (deepening) - Have a go at answering the questions.

Today we are going to look at the features of a Greek Myth. Use the flipchart to help you see which features yesterday’s Myth had.

At the end of this unit the children will be writing a character description about a mythical creature. What can you remember about Medusa?
Read the character description of Medusa. Use different coloured pens to underline descriptions of the different senses.
