Focus: Comprehension Skills (Reading)
Today you will read the famous story of The Sword in the Stone. Read it through and answer the questions but if you are struggling there is an online audio version. Have any of you watched the Disney film? After you have answered the questions you can draw the characters using the information you have read.

Art - as it is such a lovely day, let use the nature around us and practise sketching. Find somewhere to sit (remember sun hat and suncream if it is needed) and try to draw a realistic picture of something you can see. Maybe you will choose 1 flower and look closely at the detail, maybe you're looking out of your window and can see the houses around you... remember to press lightly with your pencil so you can easily make corrections. Remember that artists notice detail. Add colour if you want to, but you don't have to! I like to draw daisies in the grass!
