Look at the pictures, identifying what the atmosphere may have been like, taking clues from the surroundings and information within the picture. Write three expanded noun phrases for each picture, describing them.
Read through the powerpoint for a recap on expanded noun phrases.

Read the accounts and identify whether the sentences are active or passive. Underline them in different colours.
Create active and passive sentences to describe the environment throughout the cities during the blitz. Think about the:
