Task 1 – Teeth

Task 2 – First News

Task 3 – See which books you have read on the recommended reads list.  Could you write a review for one of them?  Which ones would you like to read and why?  Are there any you might want to put on your Christmas list?

 

Y4 Wider Curriculum – Geography

Week beginning 23.11.20

LO: To use a map to find countries and major cities in Europe (and Russia), exploring their human and physical characteristics.

Read through and follow the instructions on the ‘Introduction to Europe PowerPoint’.

Print out the 'Map of Europe' pdf and fill in, following the instructions.

If you haven’t got an atlas, look the information up on the internet.

This lesson is quite long and will probably take 2 lessons to complete.

Week beginning 23.11.20

LO: To improve level of fitness

The Youth Sports Trust is launching an online session daily from:

16 November to 18 December - 5pm.

The schedule is:

  • Adventure Monday
  • Tuesday Play
  • Wild Wednesday
  • Thinking Thursday
  • Fun Friday

Sessions will be run by Athlete Mentors from different backgrounds, abilities and sports and it’s not just aimed at physical fitness.

The first session (which is a bit like a taster) is on this link and run by Jenna Downing, the World's no 1 inline skater and 10 times British Champion.

and join the sessions for free.  Either do it live or another day at more convenient time.

Week Beginning 23.11.20

LO:  Respect

Follow the game instructions on the ‘PSHE-Respect Board Game’ pdf.

Play the game with a family member.

It should make you think about respect and what it means and how people act when they are being respectful or not.
