LO: Multiplication Assessment

We are all going to be doing an end of unit assessment today and tomorrow.

Today’s assessment is on multiplication.

Have a go as best you can and try to work as independently as you can as well.

  • Read each question 3 times
  • Show your working out
  • Move onto the next one if you are stuck

Today you are going to be thinking about how to measure area and comparing the area of different rectilinear shapes.

A rectilinear shape is a shape with sides that meet at right angles.  E.g. a square

Complete the worksheet.  If you find this a bit tricky, do questions 1 – 4 on the first page.

For the first question, you will need 4 post it notes or you could use 4 books/pieces of paper to arrange into shapes.

Check and mark your answers with the answer sheet.
