Y3J World Book Day 2019

Y3J celebrated World Book Day by doing all sorts of book related activities. Weall contributed towards a poem called A World Without Books. It shows how sad we would be without books in our lives.

We completed a fact finding mission to see what types of books we read. When we looked at our sheets at the end of the lesson we were surprised at the range of different books that Y3J read. It’s fantastic! Some of us also discovered some new titles  and book series that we might like to try at home.

Finally, Mrs Johnson read us the first chapter of a book which had no cover. Our task was to design a cover and to write the blurb. We realised how important book covers are as they tell us so much information.
