We’re carrying on with our multiplication and division skills this week
Monday
L.O: To compare statements using < > or =
Use your greater than, less than or = signs to compare multiplication statements. Remember that crocodiles are greedy and eat the bigger number!!
Worksheet – Q1-5 normal work. Q6 = challenge deepening question
There is an extra challenge for anybody who really wants to push themselves!
Tuesday
L.O: TO use related calculations
We know that 2 x 2 = 4 so we can work out that 2 x 20 = 40
We know that half of 16 is 8 so half of 160 is 80

Wednesday
L.O: To multiply 2 digits by 1 digit (using grid method)
We’re going to learn a way to multiply 32 by 3! And 29 by 8…
