Day 3 Jean Paul and the Flying Pigs

Date: 23rd Oct 2019 @ 9:42pm

Wednesday

Well it certainly looks like everyone had a better nights sleep last night, and everyone looks much more refreshed.  You'll be pleased to hear that everyone had a hearty breakfast of eggs, mushrooms, beans, toast and pain au chocolat. Sam says that breakfasts are really good, he likes that there are lots of different choices and this morning he thought the pain au chocolat was really nice.

A quick jog around the site to complete the orienteering course has refined everyone's map reading skills so hopefully we won't ever get lost. Next we were off tunnelling around Condover House. The aim was to find as much treasure as possible.

Finally this morning we all climbed the steep steps to descend the abseiling tower. I can't lie, there were a few wobbly legs especially Milena's. There was one young lady who was very proud of herself when she had a second go and and succeeded.

This afternoon we went to the climbing tower, so we quickly put harnesses and helmets back on.  Evelyn was the first intrepid climber and thought it was both fun and scary all at the same time.

After that we zoomed to the Gladiator Wall - sorry the battery ran out on the iPad so there's only one photograph.

Tea was sausages or fishfingers and then down to the camp fire for songs and stories. Lots of people are now fast asleep ready for tomorrow's adventures.
